Hey Church, our word for this week comes to us from Jesus himself again in John 4:13-14

“Jesus answered, everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.  Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

I want to talk to you a little today about the overflowing spring of “spiritual water” (Hope) that you can have in your life because of what Jesus has done for us.  With all that’s happening in our world today, the wars, rumors of wars, climatic change, climatic catastrophes, terrorism at home and abroad, gender issues, sickness, disease, famine, chaos in Government etc., it’s easy to lose our focus.  A lot of people try to and claim to be able to fix these things, (politicians, climate experts, doctors, but mostly politicians). In actuality there is only one who can fix (and he ultimately will) all these things and help us through whatever we may have to face in this earthly life because of them.  And that person is Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit with in us. I want to encourage you today to thank him for all he has done for us and if you haven’t already, to accept that “Gift” that he has given us by paying the price for our sins that we might never die (spiritually) but spend eternity with him.  If you do become discouraged or troubled at times when things happen remember Jesus’s promise in John 14 1-4

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.  You believe in God, believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms, if that were not so I would have told you, I am going to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”
